REGULAR LOAN Productive or Provident
A loan generally granted to members based on share capital or deposit regardless of purpose or source of income. The loanable amount is subject to credit worthiness of the borrower.
SALARY LOAN Productive or Provident
A loan usually granted to employed borrowers paid through automatic salary deduction (MOA or authority to deduct) or through an ATM card.
ALLOTMENT OR PENSION LOAN Productive or Provident
A loan granted to pensioners or beneficiaries receiving regular monthly pension or allotment and paid through an ATM card. Note: ATM cards are not considered collateral; they are a payment facility.
MICRO FINANCE LOAN Productive
A loan for sari-sari store owners, habal-habal, pedicab, MCH, PUJ drivers or operators, or persons engaged in informal livelihood (home-made products). Repayment is usually daily or weekly.
COMMERCIAL OR BUSINESS LOAN Productive
Usually granted to borrowers engaged in business as additional working or start-up capital. It can also be used to expand business or open new branches or outlets.
VEHICLE LOAN FINANCING Provident
A loan designed for acquisition of brand new or reconditioned vehicles for commercial or personal use.
HOUSING LOAN Provident
A loan designed for housing needs such as house repair or renovation, house construction, house and lot purchase, or lot purchase for residential purpose.
REAL ESTATE LOAN Provident
A loan designed for acquisition of brand new or reconditioned vehicles for commercial or personal purpose.
AGRI-AQUA LOAN Productive
A loan designed to cater to members engaged in livestock, agricultural, or aquaculture production.
INDUSTRIAL LOAN Productive
A loan designed to finance acquisition of equipment or machinery, or construction of buildings or facilities for industrial or production purposes.
OVER-THE-COUNTER (OTC) OR INSTANT LOAN Special Use
A loan intended for members with emergency needs or short-term credit. Includes emergency loans and back-to-back loans where deposits may be tagged as holdover until partially or fully paid.
SPECIAL LOAN Board Approval
A loan granted with special terms and conditions that requires Board approval regardless of amount and purpose (example: employees fringe benefit loan).
PROVIDENT LOANS Non-Income Generating
Loans granted for non-income generating purposes such as personal, educational, travel, memorial or mortuary, medical, and housing needs.
PRODUCTIVE LOAN Income Generating
Loans granted for income generating purposes such as agricultural, livestock, aquaculture, industrial, commercial or business, livelihood, and microfinancing.
